Nobsi – playfully developing wooden toys
In 2018, we founded Kiigeselldi as a family business. A midwife and mother’s dream was to create developing floor toys for kids, and to our delight, families with children quickly embraced us.
In the beginning, production was home-based – we lacquered swings next to the washing machine and filled the kids’ rooms full of storage boxes. Those were the days we still remember with a smile! Soon we had our own production facilities and a helping hand joined the team. We experimented with different designs and creative solutions, and successfully entered the Amazon market.
Unfortunately, the geopolitical situation in 2022 put a strong brake on our venture. We were forced to operate on a much smaller scale until 2023, when it became clear that we could not continue as before. We decided to wind down the Kiigesellid.
However, it was at the most difficult moment that we met two other entrepreneurial families who were looking for a meaningful project – they had both entrepreneurial experience and their own furniture factory. After long discussions and planning for the future, the new brand Nobsi was born, which carries on the mission and values of Kiigesellid, offering children developmental and quality toys.
